Partner Logo & Name Use Guidelines

We want to support our grant partners and portfolio companies in telling their story, including naming us as a funder or investor when helpful, and in the right context, using our logo. However, to ensure we stay focused on curated and well-aligned opportunities when it comes to partnerships — ones that tend to come through referrals and word-of-mouth rather than a public profile — we need to be mindful of the use of our logo/name, instead of spreading our attention across a wide pool of inbound that isn't a strong fit. Public logo use tends to widen that pool in ways that stretch our resources, so we're more cautious there than we are about closed, specific-audience use.

Generally fine to use our name and logo:
•  A due-diligence packet for another funder (grant partners) or prospective investor (impact companies)
•  A slide in a private meeting with a specific prospective funder or investor
•  A private investor deck or cap table shared with a specific party
•  Board materials

Generally fine, but please give us a heads-up first:
•  A LinkedIn post announcing or referencing the relationship
•  Naming us (text only, no logo) on your website or in other public materials

Please share for review before publishing:
•  Any press release naming us, whether text or logo

Generally not approved:
•  Logo on your website (including partner/funder pages), product marketing, or other widely distributed public materials — if you feel there's a specific case for it, let us know and we're happy to discuss

If you're ever unsure which category applies, feel free to check with us — we're happy to clarify. Thank you for your partnership!
